I'm dedicating an entire post to Akris because my purpose for highlighting these garments is different than usual.
I don't particularly like any of these styles, but this is perhaps the best use of color I've seen on a fall runway - deep, rich hues appropriate for autumn but also vivid in a way that is usually reserved for a summer palette. The colors and fabrics are perfectly synchronized to create beautiful visuals. I love the use of various fabrics in the same shade, such as the chocolate brown leather jacket paired with other matte brown pieces.
