Resort 2010, Part 4

[Below] Two dresses from the collection of Zac Posen. I would recommend viewing the entire collection as a whole because it is much more impressive that way. It can be seen here.

[Below] Narciso Rodriguez is an expert at creating beautiful dresses out of the most simple designs and colors. These black and white cocktail dresses are flattering and can go from day to night.

The Fox

Love this picture of Megan Fox in what I believe is a Dolce and Gabbana dress.

Cameron

Cameron Diaz wore a beautiful Oscar de la Renta dress on Sunday when she received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. I think the red shoes are a bit much, but I love the pairing of the red belt with the lacy white dress.

Resort 2010, Part 3

[Below] A classic shift in a bold, large gingham print by Giambattista Valli.

[Below] Rachel Roy's form fitting, one-shouldered cocktail dress.

[Below] A slightly punk sundress by Vena Cava.

[Below] I wish the lighting were better in this picture, but from what I can tell, I love this eyelet dress by Collette Dinnigan.

2009 CFDA Awards

The CFDA awards were held Monday night in New York City to honor fashion industry professionals. Here are my favorite outfits of the evening!

[Below] Designer Zac Posen and model Doutzen Kroes, wearing one of the designer's gorgeous gowns. I love how her legs are visible through the skirt.

[Below] Erin Fetherston in one of her own designs.

[Below] Blake Lively in a hot pink Michael Kors sheath dress. I'm not normally a fan of hot pink evening wear, but with her tan skin and blonde hair, it somehow works.

Resort 2010 Part 2

[Below] A fun frock by Oscar de la Renta.

[Below] A girly party dress by Marc Jacobs - I love the petticoat layer peeking out from underneath.

[Below] Interesting skirt of multicolored layers by Diane von Furstenberg.

[Below] This elegant and simple gown by Alexander Wang grips the body in all the right places.

Resort 2010

Resort 2010 collections debuted a few weeks ago, and of course my favorite was Donna Karan's. She is an expert at draping and knows exactly how to flatter the female figure.

I love the use of bows at the waist to emphasize an hourglass shape.

Diaphanous fabrics and clean silhouettes made for beautiful gowns.
