Lately I seem to be coming across pictures of the hand-painted gowns from Dolce and Gabbana's Spring 2008 show.
As you'll see below, they are incredibly gorgeous in a fanciful and artful way. I love the idea of painting on fabric.
Because there is no real structure to the gown other than a waistline and some sort of bodice, it would be very easy to recreate one myself. I think that's going to be the next project on my agenda when I return to California.
